Pastor Steven M. Rubio was saved at the age of 18 in the Evangelical Baptist Church, where he has remained for more than two decades. Pastor Steve M. Rubio was called to serve full-time in the work of the Lord, shortly after he enrolled in the Ebenezer Practical Institute in 1997 and obtained his bachelor's degree in Bible in 2002, in 2004 he married María Esther Figueroa after that she graduated from the same institute in 2003. 

Pastor Steve M. Rubio pastored the youth for a period of 5 years on two different occasions; He also headed the Mision del Norte until 2008, 2009 he was appointed as the 4th senior pastor of the Independent Fundamental Evangelical Baptist Church where he has been serving;

 The grace of God has led him to preach to Guatemala, Honduras, part of the Mexican Republic such as Toluca, Michoacán and Sonora. Pastor Steve M. Rubio and his wife Esther have 6 beautiful children.

Gerardo Uribe was saved at the age of 23 in la Iglesia Bautista Biblica Independiente Fundamental, en el Ejido Yucatan, Mexicali, Baja California, México. He has congregated in the Evangelical Baptist Church since 1987. He has been married to Esther Roseann Uribe since 1985, they have 3 beautiful children and 2 beautiful grandkids.

In the 36 years he has attended Evangelical Baptist Church, he has served in many ministries with his wife.

They started giving Children’s Sunday school classes from 1990 - 1994. 1996 God allowed him to teach the Spanish Couples Sunday School Class until 2003. In 2021 the couples ministry resumed and he is currently teaching every Sunday. 

from 2003 to 2005 the Uribe's helped in Breakaway (Jr. high Sunday School) ministry; a couple of years later they joined the bus ministry as a Director and Driver (2007-2012) 

In 2011 Gerardo and Esther accepted the calling to serve our High School youth group ministry (The BOMB) until 2022.

Brother Uribe has been a faithful deacon on multiple occasions from 1997 – 2000, 2004 – 2009, and 2021 to present.

Raúl B. Alva was saved in 2002, at the Jesús Salva Baptist Church in Miguel Alemán Son. Mex. He has attended the Evangelical Baptist Church since 2006, he married Razhiel Luna in 2017, her parents already attended the Evangelical church when she was born, and she was saved at the age of 5.

Raúl was in charge of the sound and media ministry for more than 13 years, in 2021 The Lord called him to the Deaconship of the local church and as Director of the youth group “The Bomb” together with his wife; 

Raul studies Biblical Counseling at West Coast Baptist College.
